Vision & Mission

It is the vision of True Life Restoration Christian Center to restore families. We believe in order to build strong churches, we must first build strong families. Pastor Edwards’ mandate from God was to build a strong church, by restoring “families through fatherhood, and leadership.” The words family {pater #3962} and father {patria #3965} are synonymous in the Greek language. We are commissioned by God to build the kingdom. The kingdom is people. We do not build the kingdom by just having members, or church goers, but by making disciples. “We believe “Disciples are not created, they are duplicated.”

Pastor Edwards believes what William Durant’s quote suggests, “A great civilization is not conquered from without, until it has destroyed itself from within. Civilization begins with order, grows with liberty, and dies with chaos.” This principle applies to a home, a church, a society, and a community. We need fathers to build and restore. Dr. Edwards plans to execute this vision by “Reaching the lost, and teaching the Found.”
